Track active state on marker?

Hi,

is there a way to store and recall the track active/inactive state with a marker or window config?

Looking for a fairly comfortable way to activate/deactive a set of tracks out of a huge post-session with several hundred tracks without having to pick and pluck them every time I need to have other set of tracks active.

Hope this wasn't too confusing :)

Example:

Recall marker 1: Tracks 31, 41, 51-80, 101 become active
Recall marker 2: Tracks 31, 41, 51-80, 101 become in-active

At the outset I will say that I was using an interpreter.

Someone has already solved the problem of Pro Tools> Kontakt 5?
(Avid Pro Tools HD 10.3.7>Kontakt.5.v5.5.1)

In detail:
"Pro Tools could not load the plug-ins Following either because no valid authorization
could be found, the iLok key was not connected or the plug-in was damaged:

I looked through hundreds of pages and nothing has come

Question about PCIe expansion for PT9 HD

Hi guys,
Running a PT9 HD2 here, 1 Core and 1 Accel. Just got Altiverb and realized too late how much DSP it eats. But I love how it sounds so I was thinking about expanding my HD rig with 1 or 2 more Accel cards, something I'd been thinking about doing anyway. But I don't want to spend a ton of money, if possible. PCIe to PCIe expansion still seems really expensive. I've seen these units around, that I think are approved, and are not too outrageously expensive:

But they only have 3 slots, which means if I got 2 more Accel cards, I'd have to split up the Pro Tools cards, since I also have a UAD Octo card. So I guess it would be Core + Accel + PCIe expansion port card in the Mac. Then the 3 card expansion box would have 2 Accels and the UAD Octo. The question is - will this work? Or do all the Pro Tools cards have to sit together in sequence? I'm guessing they probably do, but just want to check.

Is there an affordable 4-slot expansion option? Then I could have all the 4 Pro Tools cards in the expansion box together, have the Octo in the Mac, and have one extra slot - maybe for another Octo at some point...?

How have other folks out there expanded their PT 9 / 10 rigs...?

Question about PCIe expansion for PT9 HD

PT12 Track Output Busses Changing

Noticing that when I switch between two sessions with different i/o setups, and restore i/o from the session, on certain tracks with multiple busses on the output all but one of the busses are removed.

Has anyone else experienced this or been able to find a solution?

how to update

Today i will get my ilok2 dongle and i want to update my osx from 10.6.8 to the newest, my Pro Tools from 9 to 12 and i will have to update a bunch of 3th. party plugs as well...

my questions are..

- is it usefull to delete the drive and to set up a brand new osx or will a "normal" update do it as well

- if i just update osx...how to deinstall the old pro tools version, all the 3th party plugins seriously, save and completely...to dont get trouble with old versions and drivers...PT for example looks like an full installer. not an update.

- any ideas what else i should have in mind?

I really need some help. I have Pro Tools 7.1 LE MBox. I have a great deal of music I've been working on for years. I've recently had some years I didn't work on it due to a death in the family that zapped much of my desire to create. So, I just recently started getting back into this and to my dismay the motherboard on my Dell gave out suddenly. I have to get a new computer. Problem is, all of my music that I've been working on, for too many years, is in the old hard drive. Since I have to get a new computer, it makes sense to upgrade my Pro Tools software. Since I have an older version of Pro Tools and it won't work on a newer computer, how do I get the music I've been working on in Pro Tools 7.1 into either Pro Tools 11 or 12 in a new computer? Plus, Much of the music still has Audio Suite and/or Native Instruments plug-ins presently plugged in to songs. Since the Audio Suite are not supported on 11 or 12, should I upgrade to 10? And is it even possible? Or, am I going to have to buy a whole new Pro Tools software and computer but lose all my music? Not to mention the expense of all of this is not really even possible right now, so I am hoping I can somehow just upgrade in a new/used computer. I don't know what will work with what at this point.
