Need help please!

Does anyone have an idea of the elements of the 90791 diagnostic evaluation?? I'm not sure how to code MD (psych) called to the bedside to evealuate mental capacity for surgery. Should I be billing the regular initial inpatient codes 99221.. or the initial diagnostic 90791. The MD just makes the requirements for the 99221, as the mental status exam is detailed with ROS 2-9 and detailed HX. I'm wondering If I should be coding the 90791 instead but I don't know the requirements for that vs. and E/M visit.
