What modifier? MedicAID Chiropractic

Hi,

I need help with Medicaid for NC.

I filed many claims and they came back in error due to the procedure code. When I called Medicaid, they said that the procedure codes required a modifier. They would not tell me which one is the one they require. I have spent an hour or so looking at their website and cannot find the answer.

Any of you know?
