Post migration crashing in PT 10.3.9

Helping a client migrate from a MB Pro (10.8.4) running PT 10.3.9 to a Mac Mini (10.8.5). After migration, PT gets to installing Waves plugins and then crashes. Every time.

Going to try completely uninstalling and then reinstalling Waves. But if that doesn't work, anyone got any theories?
