what is Protools uploading?

I have a very slow internet connection unfortunately... and if I use dropbox to upload anything - then a lot of websites slow down..

sooooo recently websites going slow.. no dropbox upload in progress.. hmmmmmmmmm
rememebr little snitch..

it says Protools is uploading -

any ideas?
