Beware 12.3.1 on Windows 7

So that nice friendly Avid Application Manager told me there was an update available so I downloaded it and installed. Took my eye off the road though, it's been a long while since a protools installation messed up on me, so I didn't take an image backup first. My bad!!

Anyway 12.3.1 won't start up for me on Windows 7, upgraded ilok manager to latest version, checked my quicktime version, all up to date.

When I start it up I can see a process start up in task manager, and that's it, end of story, the app never starts. No errors in the event log. I tried a repair on it , and now it reports it's version as 12.2.0.152 and complains about a missing dll.

I'm reverting to 12.3.0 now, though the uninstall is taking a fearful long time......
