Is there any way with Pro Tools 12 to get a grouped set of tracks to all flip playlists together? To explain: I duplicated some tracks that were in a group and then with those dupe tracks, I created a new playlist in the same group. However, now when I flip the first member of the group to a different playlist, the others don't follow. In looking at the number after the track's playlist name, which is in parenthesis, it is the track number that is displayed, rather than an id that would link the tracks together. I.E. the first track has (1), the second (2), etc., rather than all of them having the same id number. My guess is that is why they aren't linked together.
Is there a way to force an id onto a track in the playlist so that the tracks will be grouped or linked properly? Or some other way to force them to flip together the way I want them to? Without that, I'm currently left having to flip each track individually when I want to change playlists.
Thanks in advance,
Tom Carlson
