PT 12 & Older Gen Mac Pro Models

Hi Forum,

So after reading a prior post, I'm duly skeptical of the published Avid "Qualified Hardware" list.

However, I'm wondering if anyone is successfully running PT12 on a Mac Pro of my era (Mid 2010).

I've been just fine in PT 11 / Yosemite. Just upgraded to El Capitan & have had no issues. The lure of Pt 12 is not overpowering, but obviously time marches on...
