Epic xray order

Hey Epic users.....I have noticed when coding for my xrays...the order for the xrays have been entered into the system the day AFTER my DOS.

so my encounter is for 12.22.14

order entered 12.23.14 expire 12.23.15

Is this OK? shouldn't my order come before the xray ?
