WTH is Protools uploading to 255.0.0.42?

I noticed that something was uploading constantly in the background via Little Snitch, and discovered the culprit was Protools. Does anyone know that purpose this communication with the address 255.0.0.42 is about?

I blocked it, and haven't noticed any showstoppers yet.

Anyone?
