When we have more than 3 Medicare will deny for excessive units. How do you get them to pay? We have tried the first line appeal and still they do not pay. Is the some special information required to get them to pay units of 15 or more. Also when do debridements on both legs at the same time, do you add the same depths for both legs. We tried left and right and they were denied. Will modifier 50 work?
