Locum tenens - Need direction

I hope someone can give me some direction -

I have a physician that is not a part of our medical office, but he is a locum tenens that we use. We were suppose to bill under the supervising physician for hospital services rendered and did not. What would be my chances (as an example) if we tried to resubmit corrected claims under the supervising physician in order to get those denied claims paid?

Any help would be greatly appreciated
