I work for a psychiatrist in Florida, in the Miami-Dade county area. It seems that every time he does a psychiatric consult for a hospice patient at a SNF with Medicare as the payer we are not getting reimbursed. I have called Medicare on various occasions I am having a huge problem getting reimbursement for those services. I use the "GV" modifier as specified by Medicare but still nothing. What am I doing wrong?
